222nd Infantry Regiment Veterans
Followers of this blog will know that I have a special place in my heart for the 42nd Division. My favorite collection of WWII photos, negatives and stories comes from the 222nd Anti-Tank Company of the 42nd Division. My father was in Co. C, 222nd Reg. 42nd Division
Is he still alive? Has he attended any of the reunions?
My father was in the 222nd Anti Tank Company (A.T.C) as well. After he passed in 2012, I found 2 dozen letters he had written to his mother between 1943 and 1946 that he had retrieved from her estate after her passing. So interesting to read. Truly an amazing generation.
