A recent eBay purchase will add yet another mascot dog photo to my collection. The 28th Division keystone is clearly visible on the mascot’s vest, as well as two overseas chevrons. Very cool.

Portraits of War 
It is interesting to see the 28th mascot dog. I have not seen any mascots with the 28th in the Signal Corp footage or in the 5 volume history. I did a video on animals in the World War a while back for Michigan’s WW1 Centennial News Report on YouTube.
