A fresh grouping straight from the hallowed halls of eBay! A wonderful selection of armor and scenery shots taken in 1951 by a member of the 987th Armored Field Artillery. The unit was supplied with M7 Priest tanks and served as an artillery support unit. The colors and scenes of the Korean War pop into life!
Great pictrues, thanks for sharing them.
White shirt eh? That stands out like there were no snipers anywhere near the 987th…
GREAT photos of the M7!
I am the historian for the California National Guard which includes the 40th Infantry Division. Is it possible to get copies of these images without the watermark?
My fatyher-in-law was a Staff Sgt. 1951-53 in the 987th in Korea. 13 months front lines as company clerk and trained as forward observer. Thanks for sharing these pictures!
