WWII Photo 1945 – 2011 – 347th Infantry Regiment Sherman Tanks in Plauen, Germany

Special thanks to Heintje Peter in Plauen for going out of his way to track down the location of my photo on the right.  He lives in the city and was able to snap a shot in the exact location only a few days ago.  Thanks Heintje!  Looks like the gas station is still in place, albeit with a new canopy.
