WWI Tanker

March 23, 2011August 30, 2011 / portraitsofwar / Leave a comment

A wonderfully inexpensive eBay purchase turns out to be a WWI tanker!  I purchased the photo simply on its merits as a portrait, but upon further inspection I can see that he is wearing the collar insignia of a tanker.  A very cool find!
